Mindfulness - awareness and meditation
"MINDFULNESS" is a word that is often used today as a buzzword in the context of coaching, psychotherapy, business, etc. According to Buddhist teachings, however, it has a much deeper meaning – teachers such as Jon Kabat-Zinn have drawn on this:
It is a presence of mind—a presence of mind that is wide awake, centered, without being distracted by circumstances, the environment... external influences.
According to Buddhism, the seven pillars are:
Non-judgment
Patience
Beginner's mind
Trust
Non-coercion
Acceptance
Letting go
To counteract the trivialization of the word, I would prefer to use the word
Use "AWARENESS – INCREASING CONSCIOUSNESS ."
"MEDITATION" – the word means "to become familiar with one's own inner self" – goes much further than that:
1) Inner peace and serenity
It represents an opportunity to internalize—to calm down, as it influences the limbic emotional system on the one hand, and regulates the autonomic nervous system through the limbic system on the other.
2) Transformation and realization
Furthermore, it is also a way to undergo processes of transformation through vision—in cooperation with the pineal gland and higher energy centers—letting go of the old and creating the new.
So GROWING AWARENESS AND MEDITATION are hypermodern ways to reshape our lives—indeed, our world.
