Liberation or the Birth of Living Life – An Invitation

Dear interested men and women,
In recent weeks, I couldn't help but keep looking at the images of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

What touched me most deeply—tears flowed down my cheeks every time—was when people were pulled out from under the rubble, the ashes, the destroyed houses.

I felt the horror, the fear, the dread—and the relief, the sheer joy when a person, man, woman, child, old or young, baby or elderly... was freed from the rubble.

This is how I experience my work, our work—though, of course, not to the extent of these terrible traumas, which are incomparable.

We are often buried under old experiences, concepts, notions, and ideas—under lifeless and gray patterns.

We are often frozen in the trauma of the present or of past experiences—feeling numb, empty, without hope—in the rut of an everyday life that is always the same, like functioning machines. Sometimes we feel fear, feel depressed and lonely.

We escape by consuming excessively, traveling constantly, taking drugs, watching television, becoming dependent on the media... in order to avoid our pain.

Sometimes our experience of the world is shattered by a sudden event, an illness, an accident—burnout, the loss of a loved one...

Many young people take their own lives in the face of disasters and their own paralysis and hopelessness. And we deny it, look away.

Let us help each other – let us step out of the coldness of separation and warm each other!
Let's celebrate life together, pulling ourselves out of the rubbish of our gray existence with our bare hands and open hearts!
Let's greet strangers, feel compassion, love nature – respect ourselves and each other!
Let's be grateful again for the little things – a warm meal, a hot shower, the gaze of someone we know!

Thank you very much for your—our—interest, your response, your touch.
