What I learned in such a wonderful way during the Transformation Week with Eva Gold.
I find my true calling through my camera
Through the lens, my senses are sharpened.
This is how I tell the story of the discus basket:
The discus basket—not a special object, nothing out of the ordinary, and yet harmonious in itself. Sometimes it casts a shadow, sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. I see struts that seem to provide support, and at the same time chains that constrain. Individual links dance out of line—and I sense that I should look more closely. I notice scratches, even dirt, from which I would prefer to look away. But I look deeper. There are connections, fine spiderwebs, delicate and shimmering in the light. I shift my focus and discover adjustment screws that can be turned. There are barred windows that allow for new insights. Suddenly, the beauty of the sunlight reflecting off the surface reveals itself—points of light that open up new perspectives.
I realize that I can see right through the basket. A new perspective emerges—and I realize that there is more beyond the basket. There is a path there, and I begin to walk it.
Thank you so much, Eva, for helping me recognize and dissolve old "I" structures and for guiding me toward a TRUE life. And to you, dear Manuela, thank you for the wonderful organization.
